I am in the market for a new tablet at present, and am pouring over reviews across the internet. There are some great review sites out there giving individual specifications as well as some sites specialising on offering specification by specification show-downs. All this is great, but I have yet to find a site that will show the actual screen estate on offer between these various devices. It is not helped by manufacturers always giving diagonal screen sizes and then adopting different screen ratios: 4:3 for Apple, 16:10 most Android tablet, and 16:9 for some phablet devices.
So I have created a graphic to illustrate the differences of actual screens across the most popular devices on the market right now.
